Dr. Keri Jacobs is an associate professor of agriculture and applied economics in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She holds the Partridge Chair in Cooperative Leadership and is the Executive Director of the Graduate Institute of Cooperative Leadership (GICL). She engages with producer-owned cooperatives on governance, and financial education through her extension programming. Her research considers opportunities for increased supply chain participation by producers, and the impacts and catalysts of consolidation on cooperatives.
Keri earned a B.A. in economics and business administration from Coe College and a Ph.D. in economics from North Carolina State University. She was raised on her family’s row crop and hog operation in eastern Iowa.
